FAN EXPO TORONTO 2018

For those of you in the Toronto, Ontario area Fan Expo starts this Thursday August 30th through to Sunday September 2nd.
Anybody else going? What day?
I will be attending Friday. This year will be the first time I am in costume. My son and I are going as an ODST (me) and Spartan II. I managed to convince a friend to tag along to be my handler/photographer. So I'll be posting some pics here when I can get them off her.
Hope to see or at least bump into some fellow 405th members there. As well please share any pics you have here.

Schankerz is heading out for at least part of the weekend I thought. We need to set up some sort of group call between the PAX portion and the Fan Expo portion of Fireteam Off the Rails. That dirt guy can be invited too I guess.

Yes indeed, Myself and ColdFireD96 will be going on the Friday and Saturday in different costumes, although we won’t be in our halo gear the same day as you unfortunately. Hopefully we’ll still run into you guys though!

And about this group call...I’m thinking about it...I’m interested...I agree to participate

My son and I put on our suits one more time to make sure we're all set. Good thing too. A couple of parts failed on Mini Chief. Some mending was made. We are now ready for FanExpo tomorrow!

Here are some photos from my adventure at the Con. Also we attempted to do a cosplay shoot... We had no idea what we're doing.

Oh I also bumped into these handsome devils. Good to meet Schankerz and ColdFireD96.

I suppose then it’s my turn for a Fan Expo photo dump, so here you go!

ColdFireD96 Must have spent about 3 hours or so in our Halo gear in front of the Xbox booth taking pics with a Master Chief we found along the way, I can safely say I’ve never been more popular in my life! You can also see the new helmet I’ve recently requisitioned from the noble TurboCharizard, printed and assembled by him and painted by me!

We had loads of fun and I’m looking forward to next year!

Despite how hard I worked I didn't take many pictures of myself this year I don't know why but meh! Always had a blast as usual!

Schankerz I promise you the color choice for my paint job was total coincidence to your own hahaha I'm nuts about the color orange

Your RMO had his hand on the 405th banner on the West Coast! Take note how it's four Canadians holding the banner in the Pacific Regiment event.
