Got the gas tube and gas block built and put on. Its a little larger then I would like but unfortunately due to the size of the barrel 1" pvc pipe being detachable at the coupling. The coupling is huge so the gas block had to be scaled up to compensate. I think the next build will not have a removable barrel so the gas block will be the proper size.

Not as much progress on it as I would have hoped. Just need to knock out the rail system, bipod, scope, and muzzle break and then we paint

Muzzle break is done. A little off but again this one is the learning experiment and prototype. The next one will be leaps and bounds over this one. The girlfriend is still super stoked for it though

It stands just under 50 inches long. But at just over 4 feet it will be good for a person to carry it. A wee bit smaller then the monster the chief carrys in game. However we have seen that its cannon for thier to be variations in the odst universe

Just finished the magazine. It really ties the rifle together.

The rail system is on. Just have the bipod and the scope to do but that will have to wait for payday. So this is the end of updates tell next Friday unfortunately.

Lmao its honestly not to complex with foam up to this point. I used DFT's free template for the sniper. Made it super nice. Its about 13 inches smaller then the in game file but a bit easier to lug around. If you have any questions about my build feel free to ask.

I'll definitely take you up on that offer....I'm 6'3" and planing on having extra height added to my feet...so I'm going for a more game accurate size......So I'm looking at minimum of 60 inches. Not that I'm comparing barrel size with you..............just saying........

Lmao. The same exact process could be done then all you have to do is scale it up about 13 inches i think. Then you would have to print it via office depot or something where you can print it as one piece. And alot more foam lmao. I'll admit that does throw a nice wrench into the build but I'm sure it will look amazing. You could always 3d print it too. My girl friend will also be the one carrying this most of the time. She is going to be doing a dare esq cosplay and this rifle is about as tall as her lol.

Alright ladys and gentleman, the funds and the quick seal have arrived. Will be filling in all the seams, sanding, and plastidiping the frame and barrel. Then I'll build the scope. Expect pics to follow. Sorry for the week hiatus, its been driving me crazy having the time but not the materials to work.

Just hit it with the quick seal. Just finished first round of sanding with 300 grit. Gonna let it dry then will hit some areas with another round of quick seal. Then 600 grit.

Also after sanding the muzzle break it was deemed to shotty to keep and was trashed another will be produced after the main frame is completed

So 4 seams to stronk. However thin craft foam to the rescue

So this thread is coming to a close. After hitting it with a layer of plastidip to many pieces dont look good enough to me. Sadly I will be shelving this tell probably after my armor.
