First 3D Printed Armor! PART 2: IM BACK

Okay, its been 2 years since I last posted progress on my build and worked on it for that matter. Life has gotten in the way and also buying my first car (Ive owned 5 since) all of these including my printer issues have kept me from completing my armor. I was looking at my helmet the other day and though, "I should really start working on that again". I have also acquired a new 3d printer, the Anycubic MEGA X, so after I figure out how to use that, the build can resume! I may not be working on it as frequent as I had been before, (my project car and work takes all of my time) but I plan to continue working on the armor until i complete it. Also peep the VR Remaster of how I want the armor to look (Mostly).

Great looking helmet you've got there! Love the Nissan too, of course. Looks like you like that shade of blue, since it's on both the helmet and the car.

I pretty much had the same thing happen to me, where I got a steady job and then got into working on my project truck. Seems like every project I line up for my rig takes 5 times longer than expected, so that doesn't help either.

I've just started printing in the background while I work on the other things, but who knows how long that will take.

Thanks! The visor was actually from the kids halo costume half mask and I took it out and cut the tabs off then glued it in. I was lucky it fit almost perfectly!
