First timer tips and budgeting for creating spartan armor 2022

I have sort of a creative armor idea in mind for my cosplay from the pics below:

My idea is to mix these pictures with a mixture of a specific halo reach EOD helmet, a T-800 chest plate over Halo: Infinite Spartan suit, teal, white, black orange colors, and a shark emblem as a final touch to this suit.

As a new member in this 405th forum, any tips to approach this idea on a budget and perspectives from what others would think of this type of Spartan suit/armor? I’m open to any suggestions the best I can to make this possible. Thank you all in advance.

Budget all depends on the material you choose to use and what all electronics and other stuff you choose to add! Do you have a material you want to use?
That seems true. I dont have any material I hand with me right now. I’m opened to any cheap (w/out it looking cheap possibly) materials to make a Spartan suit with eod helmet. I might go as far as including helmet lights to the cosplay in terms of electronics, but that might be it for now too. I’m new to creating costumes like this also might I add.

EVA foam is a viable way to go that's a great balance between quality and fair costs (and of course, the more you invest, the higher potential for quality). Take a look at this guide here to get an idea of costs:

EVA foam will be your "cheapest" cost. In terms of entire suit expect to spend $300-400 minimum over the whole process.
