Hm.. I think it was actually a video from bungie because no one actually saw him talking about the recon.
It does looks cool.

actually any1 can do this you just need two people on turrets next to eachother then merge bothe of the players heads. Theres a tutorial on youtube.

Yes, those are the helmets that people have been sending me. "RECOMMEND TO 50 Recently Played and Friends to get this helmet" and.. thats been going on for a while.

They aren't fake, they're glitches like the tutorial video said...

Either that or bad 3d splices.

Forge Mode, Place a turret. Set it to respawn instantly. One goes on one turret, and another one respawns in the exact same place.

I guess... This is just a theory,

This is sort of old, but here was a pretty funny joke played out by the people at Bungie.

Joke or not the fake armor variant still sort of looked cool to me.

Yeah then you can send a picture of it to the 1up show and say, "See, it is real." I bet they'd get a kick out of that.

Wrong, they said it wasn't possible. Not with the way the game's programming was written.

Bungie has stated in several weekly updates, they have no intention or desire to make new armor perms for Halo 3.
