I have only seen one other person do this build but no one that i know has 3d printed it. Ive been climbing the mountain that is converting peppakura files into 3d printable files and it is finally coming to fruition. This is my first ever cosplay and I realize the challenge. will keep this updated to the best of my ability.

Running my first test print today to just see how they look. I haven’t fully scaled to my body yet. At the moment the prints are just scaled to be wearable but kinda big.

What are you using for scaling? A lot of us use armorsmith for it, and it is really helpful. Having to remake stuff because of wrong scale gets old.

Absolutely love to see Ghosts of Onyx getting some love!! Best of luck, I'll be eagerly looking for updates on this!!!

Finally back home from the holidays and couldn't wait to use armor smith. this is just something I was able to piece together really quickly just to see. I plan an really getting into it and dialing in the scale so I can start printing.

I'm really excited for this project and I've got just under 16kg of filament ready to start printing.

Wow. This allready looks awesome! I`ll follow you with great interest. The SPI would have been my next armor too! I loved the bookd and I never felt same nostalgia with the security armor.

as much as I love the socom magnum for my cosplay plans it just didn’t fit the vibes. That’s when I found a magnum model the resembles the one used in the halo headhunters short. And since they were in modified SPI I feel like it’s more appropriate.

Long time no see. I promise I haven’t abandoned my project just had a lot going on in life. Decided instead of spring cleaning I’d do this instead. Big things coming soon since I’ll have way more free time to work on and print the actual SPI armor. Here is a little treat instead for the time being.

Also, once you're done/ready (hopefully) feel free to share the files you've converted so we can get Epsilon Company going .\m/

Not abandoned I will do this one day for myself. Going to dump the files I have since I know someone out there is way more talented and has the time to make these solid and printable. Maybe when i come back these will be printable.

I’ve been seriously considering Armorsmith but can’t 100% justify the cost yet. Working it into the plans though. Galactic Armory is putting together something similar that looks interesting too though.
What are your thoughts on Armorsmith since you have some experience with it?

Armorsmith is pretty cool if you have files ready to print and just need to size. It could probably save you a few reprints if you put your time into it.
