On my first suit and using low temp hot glue. I like it being new at this, it's easy to take a glue joint apart just by using the tip of the gun to heat the joint. Does the tacky glue hold up to resin? Seems to me that tacky glue never really dries.

It holds fine with a coat of resin, What I have noticed it goes from: Wet-sticky-tacky-immobile-dry. for it to complete the whole process is about a 1-2 minuets, The Tacky stage is when it starts to hold the paper the best.

I use no-drip Super Glue Gel...works great and bonds almost instantly...kinda sucks if you misalign a piece but I like the quick dry property so I stick with it.

I stick with the Walmart cheapie mini-glue gun and hot glue sticks. It's small enough that I can get it into the helmet if I see something that needs to be corrected or added. It could use a longer cord, but that isn't really a big issue.
