Going Paintballing In June!

Yesterday, my brother and I drove down to a beginner Speedball Tournament to play a good game of PBall. First Prize gets to go to The RPL (Regional Paintball League) Tournament for free, which would normally cost $500 dollars. Now before you get posting, we, The Growling Jackals, didn't get first. We got Second. Which, second doesn't get anything. But we came from Dead Last, to Second Place, in five hours, against hard players!

BUT:​

We were fine about the lose, congratulating and hugging the other team, WKB having great Sportsmanship about it and not holding a grudge. Great team, and great competition.

After the Raffles they held, the Refs held a quick meeting and the head Ref, Taz, spoke the following,
"Now... Everyone here played with great Sportsmanship, but one team, was the humblest, and had the best Sportsmanship. Shaking hands with the opponent, even hugging them before and after the game," He said,

"And that team, also, gets free entry into the Oregan Tournament," he said, my Team shaking in our boots, "That team, is Growling Jackals."

I'm more of a woodsball fan too, but I haven't done much speedball.

Haha yeah me too! I'm more comfortable in the woods, but all I carry is my Tiberius 8 anyway, so running light in any enviroment is pretty much good to me.

Yeah, it really is! Gotta get in shape, I was winded through-out those matchs yesterday, so I really gotta get in shape, I'm 160 or so pounds, so I'm pretty heavy, I'm hoping, after all this exersise I'm gonna do, to get lose twenty pounds, in two weeks! Everyone else on the team are thin, wish me luck that I reach my goal!

Congrats and Good luck man, That's awsome, one of my buddies was into it hardcore while we were back and school and his team ended up getting a sponsorship, I went to a couple games and it ws pretty cool never had the money for the equipment or I would have played

One of the Shockers for our Teammate.

But the guy who owns the field near here (And was running the shop and was a Ref for the Tourny), said he'd let me and my brother use one of his six personal guns for training and for the event to get away from the Spyders Temporarily.

We had a team meeting and decided not to go this year. We're newbies in Speedball, so we can't get good in three weeks.
