Griffin's Newly Updated Recon Helmet

hey all its been a long time sence i last posted but yea i decided to get back to my recon helmet because i have seen some pretty good ones out there so i have put my self to the test to go ahead and revive my helmet that u have seen in my other post so yea im now going to show u it i have added a really lot of detail into it now and more to come so here it is!. hey all so yea its been a wile sence my last update well i have been adding details to my helmet and well i want to show u what i have done thus far... the red circle's and the red line indacate where i have detailed and as u see in this photo where the visor goes i have cored out and i have also added head details (circled in red) and a breathing aperatis at the 2 breathing parts (also circled in red) well here r the photos



P.S. i have also yet to sand its all when i do sand it ill re UPDATE it.

UPDATE! 8:50PM eastern time...may 10 here is what i have done over the weekend almost finished im about 82% done! then on to my recon armor......and more helmets to come. hope u all like. and also u may notice in the photo that im cutting outh the rim inside and im also adding the decale on the head also. and the rest that r suppost to be on there rite now i have it scetched on the helmet where i want them ill update what more i have done in about 3 days....well here they r thus far.

so did you sculpt the helmet, either way, that is a very impressive helmet, I hope the Recon armor is the perfect touch for this outstanding helmet.

difficulty wise, and if you have ad experience with pepakura, is the Recon Helmet easier than the original Masterchief helmet?

well u see this was my first time useing pep and im in the mits of makeing the master cheif helm and thus far i am 50% done with the mc helm and i have to say the mc helm is way easier then the recon one and no i did not sculpt the helm i made it from a pep file then i fiber glassed it then i bondoed then i clayed it then sculped. this is the original post of the start of my recon helm http://405th.com/forums/index.php?showtopi...mp;#entry219063 go to that and ull see how i have worked my way up to where i am atm if u need any tips or tricks on how i did this helm please send me a pm ill be more then happy to answer it.

hey all im just finishing on some touchups and i have it sanded ill update u on some new photos when i take em.

P.S im also now adding the detail! stay tuned for more updates.
