Another day where the primes and platsic filler gets on to fill the threading shreading helmet!

Journey i would say atleast...

But got the silver spraying on at first so when the blue colour gets done i can scrape and sand so the silver poke thrue as a "battle damage.

Was not happy the the colour placement, thought i could go the same rout as my recon helmet but then i looked into the halo infinite patern and took that idéa and just kept my colours and use that patern instead and i f@#k with this, this went harder

View attachment 372032View attachment 372033Now its just a visor, MAYBE an attachment, padding and magnet to the neck seal thats left!!
Hey I'm pretty sure I bought the same files as you! But I ran into an issue with the neck seal. The rim and the overall thickness of the piece is too thin and I did manage to get 4 small magnet holes to keep it attached but the magnets aren't strong enough to hold the weight of the rear up so it keeps falling off. And I can't use bigger, stronger ones because there's no space with the thin trim. I'd appreciate it if let me know how you end up connecting it, it might help me a ton!

Edit: I fixed this issue, guess what I did? Just added more magnets......who would've guessed! Nah fr tho I thought I didn't have enough space to fit more magnets along the rim but I did. Silly me, but hey at least that's that problem solved.

Sorry for late reply!!
Well i used rectangular magnets in the helmet, and then just some thin thin metal in same shape on the neck piece i will put a pic on it on the forum for sure!

The helmet is printed so the visor goes on the outside on this model so i took the visor i cuted out and even draw the lines that goes in and out and cut it in three diff pieces as the visor goes.

It was kinda hard to get the shape and i even had to cut a thin foam that fits on the inside walls of the visor placement so i can glue this in place!

But im kinda happy with it in how it turned out. It was tough but its working for sure!

Im also gonna put a post on how the back piece if the helmet got done aswell! Just need some remindments to do it!
