As this is my first time really dipping my toes into 3D printed cosplay feel free to flame me.

As for images all I have is this refrence image (yes I know its awful)

Hound me about the rigging pics. Your the 3rd person to ask about mine and I keep forgetting to take and post them. I do have my own thread on thos build if you want to check it out.

My "New Armorer FAQ" thread:
SgtSaint's FAQ post
<spoiler> I commonly recommend
1 - starting with a less unforgiving build as your first armor, then work up to one's like this with tighter and tighter tolerances after you've leveled up your scaling skills.
2 - Start at the feet and work up, helmet last after you've gained skills at scaling and printing.</spoiler>

My 1st Spartan build (Not awesome)
First {Halo} build - Spartan (TV series)

My 2nd Spartan build
Build 2 - MK-VI gen-3. With some silver timeline influence

My 3rd Spartan build (just realized I need to finish this with more details)
MK-VI Silver team season 2 [2024 build]

My ODST Build
SgtSaint ODST build (AU regiment)

Advice:
Just because this is new to you doesn't mean its new. You don't have to re-invent the wheel with making, finishing or painting techniques. With ANY new endeavor I urge people to scroll back in the forums and facebook pages about a year and just read, read, read. A day spent reading can gain you man-years of knowledge and insight. You see what gets asked over and over. You see the problems that pop up over and over. You see things like "after about 3 months these cracks appeared" or "how did you do strapping" or "what shade of green is this" and so on that you only get with the benefit of time.
YouTube: Instead of watching movies this week just watch YouTubes on printing, making armor, doing painting etc. There's nothing like WATCHING something happen both good and bad to be a great learning tool.

Read through some build threads where people detail the process, the scaling, the planning, the fails and successes, finishing, painting, strapping. These are a couple of mine but there are hundreds more. Also don't brush off build threads for armor different than yours. Just because it's a... Heavy Infantry Mandalorian, or whatever doesn't mean the lessons on scaling, padding and painting don't apply to your armor just as well.

The thing is Ive done way more reading on this forum than id like to admit, it was the fact that I scaled it in armorsmith and never really thought "Man this might be a bit big" I will totally admit I jumped the gun on the helmet. As for the rest of the body? I took my sweet time scaling everything it just boiled down to the fact my head is a bit of a strange shape and I was too eager to print. And after reading your FAQ thread it honestly helped a lot and I really appreciate the advice :)

This is the armorsmith profile I have mentioned previously
Is it accurate? Have you confirmed the mannequin matches you? I would describe it looking "youthfully slim". Does that seem right?

Have you decided on an under suit? Some of those parts like the forearms seem to be be near skin tight. Might work with a morph suit or sportwear/spandex but not with heavier like BDU's. But other than that, looks like a very close fit to the avatar (y)

Im 6'4 and built like a twig and for undersut I have a little bit of a crazy idea... Using a wetsuit.

Little progress update! After a crap ton of bondo, sanding, priming I'm very pleased to announce that the helmet is fully primed and ready to paint! As for the forearms they are primed and have putty on them I just need one more coat! And then I have the task of putting foam in the armor and setting up the rig system, as for the visor I'm commissioning scifibuckets (shoutout to him for dealing with my smooth brain), That is all for today folks, I will post again when more progress has been made.

PS I still haven't decided on colors please do leave suggestions below!

I would have to caution against the wetsuit idea, becuase they are often much thicker, and some are often actually designed to keep in body heat to prevent you from losing it into the water, so that isn't the best thing to have to prevent you from overheating.

Hello again,

I still having taking rigging photos. but with your permission i will post amazon links (USA) for all my under suit that i used for this armor. its 10 total links.

Amazon.com Face/ neck cover. (not at all required but covers the neck)

Amazon.com: DEVOPS 2 Pack Men's Compression Pants Athletic Leggings (X-Large, Black/Black) : Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry Athletic pants
Amazon.com long sleeve athletic shirt
Amazon.com elbow pads for gauntlet padding and some extra bulk on my skinny arms.
Amazon.com Butt pad. for some cushion on your cod piece helps a lot with sitting (i wore these under my athletic pants so you cant se the padding.
Amazon.com knee pads. helps keeps the thighs and shins in pace and helps with kneeling (also wore these under the pants)

Amazon.com : ZUNE LOTOO Touchscreen Tactical Gloves Men with TPR Finger Impact Protection & Palm Padded for Motorcycle Airsoft Paintball Range Work : Sports & Outdoors gloves i just glued/velcroid the hand plates to them. (still working on the best method of adhesion)

Amazon.com i used the back plate for this as the lower back spine plating also has some tummy tucker effects for us on the dad bod side.

Amazon.com: RIYA Waist Trimmer Sweat Waist Trainer for Women and Men Waist Sweat Belt Band Belly Stomach Wrap Black : Sports & Outdoors used as an ab wrap. for a more uniform look with out an actual foam ab wrap. (this can get hot)

Amazon.com police H harness (there is an official tutorial on a universal H harness I would look at that over this) but this is the backbone of the entire suit. all the rigging goes into this.

That is every piece of clothing i bought. i got 3 pairs pants and 3 shirts. (my 1st con was 3 days).

Is this the cheapest? probably not

is it the best looking? probably not

but it does all work. along with all this i bought nylon webbing (nylon straps 1 inch) buckles for the rigging (bot 3 clip and 1 button parachute) and Velcro)

My main adhesives were supper glue (with and with out CA activator spray) hot glue, E6000, and some soldering/ heat welding.
