FAKE! it was only a month or so ago Peter Jackson was signed and confirmed by his speech(at the time of speech he was looking forward to starting work and hasnt actually started work on Halo: The Movie) and if the movie is going to be a triolgy which is strongly speculated, and we all kno how much effort and detail P.J puts in his movies nevermind epic trilogys, I strongly disbelieve he can pull off part one of a full feature movie with the effects and story he has to put into this being its going to be one of the biggest anticipated movies; in a mere 7-8 months.

7-8 months is a full shooting schedule, not to even consider, script writing, signing cast, pre produciton, staffing, post production, effects, editing, final cut edits blah blah blah.

so, thus being, fake

P.J and Bungie have been shooting secretly for the past year or so with no leaks or no news... then it may be possible. But highly doubtful.
