Halo Reach UNSC Army Trooper project

This is my first time making an costume out of form and other items. I know that I need a lot of help and wanted to know what all everyone has done and see if I can do this Army Trooper build before making my Spartan costume later on. I am wanting to make an UNSC Army Trooper from Halo Reach. One, I never see anyone doing it, if I do. they miss ID it as the Marines. The Marines didn't come into Halo Reach until the End of the Game when they were defending the Pillar of Autumn and protecting Keyes when he picked up the fragment of Cortana. I have already started picking up afew parts of EVA form to use. The BDUs aren't an problem to get as well with the boots and knee pads. Any and all help is welcome. Thanks
