Well I Thought it would be nice if we would all share our epic screenshots from Halo 3 with eachother.

Feel free to photoshop some of them for better results.

By the way guys, If ANYONE wants to know how to make these effects, post and tell me, and ill write up a little tutorial.

lets just face it, nobody takes EPIC screen shots anymore, and most people on live usually don't give a care to stop playing and take video every now and then. plus the screen shot world is over filled with bugs and glory shots, not a lot of EPIC ones.

Right, Epic is a real word. Why are you abbreviating it in Caps lock.

Haha, Jim. It sounds like you're complimenting yourself.

I Had a funny feeling somebody would ask about the floating guns.

Get 3 double boxes and lay them down next to each other, then get another 3 double boxes on top of that.
(when I say boxes I mean the "TRAXUS" Boxes, the really long ones.)
You should have a large tower of boxes, 3 on the bottom, and 3 ontop of that, then place 1 box ontop of that, right at the end. get like 3 Ramps, and line them up on the single box, so its a ramp going down below to the other set of boxes.
Then you should have like a structure with a flat panel slanting ontop.

Draw your weapon art on the ramp, when its complete, save the map just incase. Delete all the items, (including ramps)
Your weapons should be floating.
Turn to forge, put some effects down then float above the wings, turn human, and you will drop. keep doing this several times, so when in theatre you can get some good results.

You don't have to do it so high. you can make the ramp come off of the floor, that way you wont be falling when you take the screenshot. I just wanted it to appear like i was flying, so I made me fall infront of it.

Tip.
DONT use the weapon you are holding for the art.
Say you have an assault rifle equipped, you fall from the sky, and take the ammo from the rifles on the art, when they respawn, they have nothing to sand on, so they will simply fall.

I am working on my own tutorial, as this one is a bit... well... i hardly understood any of it. i just had to watch what he did.

Check each issue of the 405th E-Zine for my screenshots along with a mix of some of my favorite screenshots.. they all get incorporated into my artwork. Although.. for you Odessa and Helljumper fans ... you're in for a treat on the release of the December issue...
