Thanks... It's fairly difficult to unfold these just because of the small lip on them...

I'm still trucking though... I got a rough one but I don't like the way it looks...

Also I figured it's about 2cm off from scale height achieved from Robo's Models...
This is how far I am right now... It's sized for 42.5 right now... and that's what I'm gonna use and see how it is after I'm done making my other thigh... I had it for 44.4 before this and I figure it out because one of the measurements should still match the 3... and I just matched it to get that

looks good man i've been doing the same for my smooth addition but I'll wait till your done till i release mine when i get done with it

Your models are great, Crackhead. I'm working on the thighs now, and if Macattack lets me, I'll be working on the shins very soon.

Sorry, I haven't posted anything yet.

pepakura can already read them man just have it open it and what did you have in mine?

nice work! It bugs me how your models are so simple, but yet, not missing any detail.

Did you add in the side clip-looking thing? on the bottom?

eh, you can kinda see it here

no because if you look it looks like its a cut with a strap looping through it but its something i didnt think needed to be modeled and the reason why the models looks simple is because i dont know how to make models look 100% accurate i just kinda guess and just add in only the details that everybody will pick up but only the perfectionist will probaly be able to spot what is missing and thanks for the compliment I'm still learning how to do these things and right now I'm wondering if i should do the cod piece or not i heard nugget is working on one and i know he makes amazing models and he has a better program than me

Good, good. I was going to say, that particular part looks almost like something that can be added from scratch-build. Similar to the vents on the MkVI helmet. Maybe we should check with nugget. If he has the project on hold, you could always pick up where he left off.

He finished the Halo Wars one I believe, but i'm not too sure how far he got with the MKVI one

EDIT: from the state of HD-ness thread, here's the two wispers about the cod piece

I'll be working on the cod piece within the next couple weeks. Along with some other stuff.

Okay i will stop the cod piece because nugget has that in the works so i will do the thigh. So this is basically dibs and dont do!!!

I guess we should ask nugget. I bet he would make a killer cod piece, if he hasn't started already. It really doesn't hurt to have more than one model of the cod piece, if you both happened to complete it.

its there from looking at people's molded armor and the reference pics imply its there but if im wrong ill fix it when i upload the supported model

I fixed it on my pep... :\...

I see... on it it doesn't stick out as much... it's just slightly... like if you added like 2 or 3 layers of cardstock on it in that spot...

alright i fixed it and give me about an hour to put in supports in the mean time you guys can find and point out anything missing

Looks amazing right now. I haven't noticed anything else (other then that raised spot in the front) that needs to be changed, other then possibly making the indentations in the front a little deeper, but thats just my opinion.

I've never really unfolded anything before, but here is what I have, so far:

What do you think? I'm not going to release it until I find out what people think about it, and if someone makes a better one, I won't need to release it at all. ;P
