idk if this is possible... it looks like a good idea, but it would be quite a couple days of folding, and it would take a lot of bondoing to get it into generic smoothness.

No, it's possibble. There used to be a whole website about transferring the patterns on to cloth and making plush HCs. No idea what happened to it :/
