Helmet Process

I have made a helmet before using Pep, and I have started on my second one, the first one was just to tell myself that I could do it, but I was wanting to make my second one a wearable helmet, but I have a question. When making the helmet should I add the faceshield to the helmet and then once I have it almost done cut that part of the helmet out and add the bike faceshield?

from what I have done and seen in other builds that is the perferred method so you have less of a chance of warping.
