Can anyone help me with how to construct a visor? And Where to get cheap materials from (UK preferably)?

There are many ways to do it. Both hard and flexible.
Also, just judging by your question I'm sure you didn't even scroll through the forum. Use search button, there have been tons of threads about visor.

Also, you can use different methods for different visor helmets. It depends on your helmet.
