Hinged-Neckhole Helmets?

I noticed recently that BishopX is making his helm with a plate in the back which will hinge closed to allow a closer fit.
It seems to me that this is optimal in form and function- a closer fit would look better, fit more snugly, and would eliminate the necessity of a chinstrap.

Has anyone completed a helmet designed thusly to date, or have they all been slip-on helmets?

Some guys use magnets for there clone helmets. They cut the helmets in have first. Then make the magnet supports. Then glue the magnets on. Check out clonetroopers.net for some pic! Up, sorry backup forum is up!
