How can I get a hex pattern on my visor?

Hello everyone, I've been digging to find an affordable way to create a hex pattern on a visor like the GEN2 chief helmet. I'm planning on doing the method where you stick a mirrored sheet to a plastic report cover. There's a tutorial here where someone prints the hex pattern right on the plastic sheet, but I do not have access to a laser printer like he did. Are there any other solutions to this? Please let me know guys! Thanks!
