How could i make the Katana from Halo 3

Would it be possible to make this using Eva-foam? or something similar?

Difinatley! If you have a belt sander, this is easy peasy! Just get a cheap colfclub from the thrift store and cut the head off, or find some sort of pole or anything long, skinny, and stiff to reinforce the foam and make it not floppy. Then cut out two long strips and put a "trench" in the middle of each of them for the pole to sit in, and glue together. Then sand yo shape. Should be simple if you dont want to paint a cheap plastic one. I think oden makes made a good tutorial on swords and katanas!

i was going to do that or use or this pole extender i found i would just have sand it down a bit
