How did you get into Halo?

What brought you to the Halo games and when did you start?

I started with Halo CE back in 2002 when I went to a friend's house. I never heard of Xbox or Halo before that! We played campaign on the mission Assault on the Control Room and I was hooked!

Very nice! Did you start with campaign or multiplayer? When I first started playing all my friend and I played was campaign. I love all the different covenant soldiers. He always called the grunts piglets for some reason and that's always stuck with me

My first copy of halo ce was for pc. The multiplayer was so much fun back then! I still have my copy

When i was a kid i went to with my mom to a Walmart and i saw a add for master chief i think it was 4 but i saw him save marines and lead them ad i was inspired i didn't know what the game was until i saw my cousin own the game halo reach i asked if there was a green armored guy and then my cousin kind of info dumped but the thing that hit most was that when he told me that master chiefs name is john (my irl name is Jonathan and many people game me nicknames and jon)

Many, many, many moons ago in college, I was introduced to Halo at a LAN party. On weekends several of my friends would get together at another friend's place. He had a three bedroom and lived on his own. We would bring the xboxes over and set up tvs in each room and have a blast. I was terrible as I struggle with coordination on a controller but it was always fun anyway. I didn't play after college for a long time. Fast forward to about three or four years ago and a LOT of PC gaming later, I decided I wanted to learn to play shooter games on the PC so I could play more games with my husband. We dove into the Halo series to get me started. I have played the entire MC Collection as well as Infinity a few times over now and beat each campaign on legendary. I'm still not the best player ever but I'm WAY better on a keyboard than I ever was on the controller.
