Hi again, I'm making my helmet, and I want to know how we replace the paper in the "vision zone" for we can see inside the helmet, should I put the risin in all helmet but not in that zone, and next cut? Or what?

Thanks!! :)

You can resin it all. If you have a dremel and know how to use it, then cutting out the paper visor shouldn't be too much of a problem. If you aren't that great at dremeling, don't resin the visor, although that may increase the chances of warping during the resining stage.

I've cut through a pep piece with resin on one side and a thin layer of plastic on the other with an x-acto knife but its difficult, hard to control, and easy to mess up the model with. I suggest resining the visor and then using a dremel to cut it out, like queen said.

The advantage of Fiberglassing and resining the visor is that, if you make a VacuForming table, you can use the Visor as a template to make a vacuformed clear plastic visor.
