How strong is Bondo?

if you're just covering cardstock in bondo it might crack... from my experience bondo body filler's strength s directly related to how flexible the stuff it's being put on is. If you're not treating the cardboard or cardstock that you made your helmet out of, the body filler could crack very easily by the material underneath flexing around.

however, if you've fiberglassed the stuff, so that it by itself is sturdy, the bondo will stand less of a chance of cracking. The bondo is pretty impact resistant

I resined and fiberglassed it first.

Shoud I put a coat of resin on the Bondo after I sand it?

Don't be ridiculous... then you'll have to sand it again...

How about this: DON'T DROP IT!
Even reinforced resin will crack if you put it under enough pressure.

Why would you drop it in the first place... unless it was an accident... :\

Ok, So let me get this straight...
Is this the correct order of what you do?

Resin
Fiberglass
Bondo
Sand
Detailing
Paint
