Alright so short not so productive weekend, but I got the helm pep finished
It ended up being pretty roomy, which is nice since I will be able to add fans and other electronics possibly
And here it is with the chest for reference, I left it at the native scale of the file, I hope it didn't turn out too big. I don't think so but what do you guys think?

I am having some real issues with the shoulders, my problem is they are either too big and won't work when I bend my arm or they are too small and won't fit. I have one more size to print out and try but I was wondering if any of you guys had any suggestions. Any help is appreciated

I might have to break down and make those parts out of foam, I have no experience with that though
Its not as hard as You'd think. I only started working with it last week. I can offer a little advice if you do!

OK I will take some photos of the most recent bicep tonight to show, if this one is too small I will try scaling a little larger and try again, if this doesn't work I will have to resort to fo lolam. Why are the reach biceps so weird?

SUCCESS!! I tried a completely different bicep file and it worked this time, still a little snug for my under armor but a minor scaling adjustment and I've got it! I'm off tomorrow so I will knock those two pieces out and hopefully finish glassing the chest and start on the arms too. I might even get my attachments done tomorrow too, like the ab plate, the chest add-on, my wrist additions and my shoulder pads. I more than likely won't get it all done but I have a full plate to work on so you know what to expect as far as updates in the coming days.

Sorry guys I'm still here, had a busy weekend, attending a wedding in another state. But big news, as you can see I changed the thread title, my wife agreed to let me make her a set of armor too! I will working on hers simultaneously with my own

Well havnt had much progress, had to redo her helmet due to it being too small.
But here are some additional progress pics.
Bit of what I'm working on now, left to right, Gray Knight helm (true scale) that I am donating to my local hobby store, my wife's MRK VI helm as a start to her armor, my armor start and the EOD helm I'm finishing

Got the MRK VI pep'd for the wife tonight. Need to put in the struts to keep its shape till I glass it. Now I will glass both her helm and mine and do a piece at a time so we should be finished about the same time

Really picked up.some momentum on the project last night. Started glassing the wife's and my helm as well as my forearm pieces. Got most of her helm and my forearms done, should finish them up tonight. I hope to get my helm and the rest of my chest piece done either tonight as well or tomorrow, also hope to get onto rondoing the helms tomorrow too. Additionally I printed of my wife's chest armor this morning and should get crackling on that soon too. So almost ready for bondo work! And pics are to come as well

Progress has been a little slow here lately, I decided to redo the helmet. I wasn't really happy how the EOD turned out so I decided to change it up and go grenadier for the helm.
I'm actually quite liking how its coming so far
I am really liking how this helmet is turning out, I am really Finns take my time with this one and have alot of fun detailing this bad boy
Also redid the forearm and got two completed ones now, gotta finish the helm and move on to the shoulders

Well I nailed the scale of my wife's chest armor, I'm cruising right along with this build.
should be finishing the pep of this up tonight, also just about finished glassing hers and my helmet as well as my forearms and should be finishing up the glassing if my chest in the next couple days for it all yo be ready for a coat of rondo inside.
this project is really starting to pick up momentum and take shape!
