How do I do what you are doing

I'm still using pepakura for the patterns but instead of using foam I'm using an expanded pvc board known as sintra. The only difference is you need to heat it with a heat gun to make the bends. All angles and undercuts are made the same as you would with foam.

Started working on the shins today. This is only the front portion. Because of my recent surgery and permanent ankle limitations I had to find a spot to split them. With the way I was building them this felt like a natural spot to do it. I'll probably do a hidden Velcro on the seam.

Experimentation time. Decided to try a true flack vest look for the torso. It's coming along pretty well.

Finished one of the shoulder straps. The other one is pinned up ready to sew.
