its easier to just dremel alot of details. Its not hard with patience.

Great, that will make things a bit easier moving forward. I'll go back and revisit the helm and rearrange the edges in the jaw. I think after that it will be finito.

next I plan on getting the cod, and possibly the neck done. with my experience making the abdomen area, the neck should function in a similar manner. The hardest parts I see so far, are the back (with the flaps). of course ill be modeling only one arm and one leg as it can just be mirrored.

i would definitely be interested in what you come up with for the neck. I left it plain so i could just add the detail in bondo

just want to know if you are going to put some over lapping edge(where we could insert axle or something, to make it bendable)for the groin for some mobility... if its possible that would be awesomeness.... thanks

Ok, here is the neck progress. I have to say this was a B&@^% I am actually not done with it, but thought I'd post the progress as I know a few are curious about the neck.

This picture shows what I have to fix. For the neck to intersect the helm properly, everything above the red line needs to be taken down, the process to tweak all those verts is an exhausting proposition to me at the moment :). also where the chin will be, the front neck are needs to come forward a bit.

The problem with modeling the neck is that no 2 reference pictures are the same, in looking for pictures, I came across 5 or 6 different setups for the neck.

Ok neck is done, after a lot of tweeking, it fits very well into the helm.

As far as accuracy, I think we are there. As far as functionality It will probly need to be tweaked at the overlap sections, there is a L shaped chanel each pice rests on, I think that will have to be taken down to just a slanted \ lip. That way the pices can rotate indipendantly and not bind. For the sake of producing an acurate model, I will not be making that change. That is something easily done when the pice is being modeled in Pep.

I also included a front view and a 3/4 view of the entire collection so far.

Got alot done on the back, I'm not 100% satisfied, I think I will be going back and adding in more detail, its a little blocky on the geopetry, I'd like it to be a little smother. After this, only 2 more pieces then its on to the shoulders and that should get the torso finnished up.

I put a little color on things for you to see better.

WOW you work fast.

got to say loving what your doing very impressive.

Just wondering how High Detail your planning on making your model...higher the better I hope.

Keep up the awesome work !!!!

Alright, time for another update. Well I made so many changes to the back, it might as well just be a new piece all together. To a casual glance it may not seem different, but it is. That being the case it's done anyway. Tomarrow I'll get working on the shoulders and then the torso ill be done (minus any small tweaks I make)

One thing to note about the back and one of the major chainges since yesterday !!! Working Flaps!!!!
