Ok, Not much progress in the way of new pieces, only the shoulders are new, but with thoes it finishes off the torso. I did spend alot of time tweaking many things, rounding off curves, and working on edge flow. here are the latest pics.

If you have been following this thread than you know that I was going to go back and rework the jaw of the helm, well thats all done:

I have to say out of all the Iron man armor I've seen this by far has to be the best, straight forward and simple parts, I'm interested in seeing a completed model.

This has to be one of my favorite projects anyone is doing here on 405th. I hope to follow your progress through to completion.

I really like the chest design, and the back, I want to make my flaps move up and down as I'm sure you do, if I don't come across another chest file after I'm done making the arms, I may wait for this one. Very well done let me know if I can help in some way.

Been out of the loop for a few days, but I do have an update, started work on the legs. Finnished the calf with all its flaps. Also in the pics you will see a sneek peak at the thigh, that is very far from completion.

*dribbles with anticipation* Can....not...WAIT! I want Iron Man to be the first complete build I do, so am nearly crying with joy every time you release a new progress pic!

very cool! I put a link to this thread in my ironman build thread keep up the great work your awsome!

Never seen a forum move as fast as this one... sure keeps me on my toes.

Here is the leg update, thigh, knee, and calf. I don't know how I am going to approach the back of the knee or the no mans land between the thigh and the cod yet??? also I hope I don't dissapoint, but I am not planning on doing the actual foot. I did star it, but I just don't see the value in it, there is no... one model fits all when it comes to the foot, plus I'm not an engineer, and for me to put time into modeling something that probably will colaps when people walk on, its not worth the time. Of course it is subject to change.

well here are the update pics, comments, critiques and sujestions are always welcomed.

If I may make a suggestion, for the MJOLNIR armor, many if not most people do the feet as boot covers (no bottoms). That way, there's nothing to step on and crush, and nothing is load-bearing. I'd love to have the option to have a pep-built boot over scratch-building one that might not be as accurate as the rest of the suit.

But anyways, as everyone else here has said, excellent work so far, and we definitely appreciate the effort you're putting into it. :)

Love the work so much. I've been looking for good, accurate, full iron man suit files but haven't found them and you brought the answer! Keep up the awesome =P

O-btw, you owe me a new jaw

Another option for boots is to glue a welcome mat cut out in the shape of the boot to the bottom as a sole. I did this using gorilla glue and my boots held up all day and are still very solid.

Progress looks great, should definitely give the boots a second chance, people can always modify them to the right size.

The progress on this has been amazing! keep it all coming! i'll be doing a pep job on this when it's all set and complete. great work again!
