Is It My Printer?

So I did a regular copy-paper based print of my scaled chest piece for the Mark V Breast plate. Parts of it where overlapping onto other sheets and... Yeah. What size paper should I be using? Also what printer would be recommended. Currently I'm using an HP copy/scanner/printer thing I got a year ago. Do I need to print larger sheets, or what?

well not to be mean but read the stickies in the n00b forums answers most of this,. .I'll be nice right now printer should be fine, letter size is probably what your printer uses most (if your in the U.S.) and you'd be better off using 110lb Cardstock then regular copy/printer paper

Well I'm not building right now. I just wanted to check the layout and do a test build with regular paper.
