ok so today I just finished putting all the crease lines in the PEP pieces with my box cutter, Im about to leave for a family party but Im gunna spend a few good hours tonite so I can get the forearm out as soon as possible. I finally am using a boxcutter without a ruler(boy have I grown from using PENS! and RULERS! lol) and its really helping me go a ton faster through the creasing step!

Ok BlacroseImmortal I finished the pep before tuesday! It took me about 10 hours in total and I agree with you, it was totally worth re-making. Here is a vid of it, sorry about the double post haha! And it was Nuggets model that I made, sorry I forgot in the vid....

here is the link if the imbed didnt work

Heh- thanks a ton! So you think it was worth it? I do, im gunna go back now and RE-RE-do the left bicep and use the total HD model for it(apparently I was mistaken and used a mid D model haha, so ill start that tommorw when I find time. BTW I added vents to my helm, and they look sick, update pics later when I get the LEDS in

You did a great job! I think you have the sizing down perfect, I can't wait to see updates on the set of HD forearms and your helmet.

Hahaha, Boy you are crankin out that armor like a industrial factory. You have better patience than I have for pep lol.

Who am I to keep someone waiting? No guarantees on the HighDeff Left Bicep, but I want it by next week, lets see how my weekend goes!???????? Glad you like the forearm!

great progress . how are you scaling are you just trying different sizes or mesuring?

A bit of both, because honestly I really cant modify the pep enough to make measurement perfect. I cannot directly scale the length of my arm AND the thickness of my forearms BOTH at the same time in perportion to the model. So I have generally found that a 2x10% reduction for the ROBOgenisis models fits me well~!

UPDATE!
I just finished the left bicep yesterday, one day late but I still finished! Pictures to come when I get back from football~

Ok here are some views of it with the cardboard insert and the support struts. Like the other bicep its still a tad big but it already was 2x10% reduction so it works I guess haha. It came out a little cleaner then the HD Forearm but they both look great together. So Im gunna start working on the right forearm now, deadline is gunna be next thursday hopefully I will be able to make it.

Any comments???

Wow your cuts and folds look extremely clean, good job :D And, so what if their a little big right now, you'll grow into them  Keep at it! By the end of next month you might have a full pep suit at the rate your workin lol

Hahah thats a little too optomistic with summer reading, football, getting my wisdom teeth taken out, but I guess I will be doing alot of sitting around when the teeth get pulled so Ill have time to work, hey can anyone give me detials on what they sized their handplates at? Say I am a 16 year old guy with normal sized hands- anyone thats like 14-21 guy/girl tell me what you sized your plates at please!!!!!!! hahah

Ty on the motivation and support guys!

I got small hands for a 16 year old, and the scale I used on the handplates were a tad too big for me. But I think if you scale it to about 70 or 75 it should fit nicely on your hands (86 is the default scale for the MC). Experiment with the Size Testers first and find the right scale, you don't want to waste time doing all the small folds on the High-Def, only to find out that the scale was too big or too small. Just my 2 cents right there. ;)

Definetley needs less bondo. :)
I think it was mentioned earlier. Use bondo by a little bit by little bit.
What I do for my helmet is I rondo it, and I really dislike sanding rondo, so then I sand it a bit, dremel soem of the details that may have gotten covered up, and then I bondo that. Does that make sense? Might help, might not, but your off to a great start on those biceps, I dont have enough patience(sp?) to do that well. Nice job.

TY guys for the advice, ya the less bondo was deffinately a learning experience haha, but ya Ill try that scale for the handplates and ya the biceps and forearms took a while around 10-12 hours each haha!(A little less time then it took to make my DF4L helm!)
