i will add the vidor as soon as the paint dries and the side peices tomorrow

looks very good man, is the hole in the side supposed to be a vent that you'll cover up with some plastic tubing or something? just wondering

yea i will add either some craft foam or maybe a some tubing im not sure which will look the best.

well for the skull it did have a lower jaw but my friend said that i should remove it because thats how it was in the game. i do agree it does kinda have a round look to it but i think itll work

Looking good! I know I had a hellovatime getting the recon smooth. I still need to go back and build up the detail in the back and sides. There isnt much in the way of reference for it so I skipped alot now Im seeing yours its making me want to work on it again lol.

Cheers!

i did leave out some of the detail that i wanted to put in. after i spent more than 2 weeks sanding, bondoing, sanding some more, then more bondoing i kinda of tired and stopped witht he detail work. i will add some with paint i need to add alittle to the blue sides they look a little plain to me.

Nice! I love the paint job, looks very sleek.

Scaling looks great too!

Good luck with the rest of the project :]

ok here is going to be the last upate on the helmet i have finished the visor and the top and side blue details.

here is the in side after adding the visor and side detail. i use alot of hot glue just to make sure it did not come back out

Well i dont have the money to buy one of the fance ones so i am useing a sheet of plastic from Hobby Lobby (a craft store here) and some blue irredecent paint. its a little hard to see threw but i think it looks good

Wow, nice recon. Great color choice too. I'm seriously debating whether or not to build a recon helm rather than a Mk VI after I finish my ODST gear.

I definately didn't expect the helmet to look so amazing. The weathering looks great, and the color choice is awesome.

If you want to forever secure the visor in place, try putting some super glue around the edges. If it ever breaks through the hot glue, it won't get past the super glue.

Your suit is looking amazing so far, and I'm waiting to see the chest piece in chrome

Looks excellent. I like your color choices. The side detail looks great! What did you end up using for that?

jug- well for all the detail like the sides, the humps in the back and the dips in the top i used model magick i kinda wish i had used something else becauseit never completly hardens and if you sand threw to bondo too far it can cause the model magick to look real ruff.

daft- if you wanna use it go ahead, thats fine with me we would be like the Cylons of the haloverse

I'm diggin the chrome look man, And I wasn't saying the skull itself looked odd, Was a lame joke about how it looked like the odd ball skull :p
