Kat - Halo Reach Build

It might be cool if you made an alternate helmet with either a hole in it or a needle rifle round stuck in it. I can't wait to see the final results of the build, good luck
thank you!
i considered a magnetic needle shard so i don't have to modify my helmet, but that'll be a project for later

Shoulder, gauntlet, and hand plate patterns are done
Now onto the chest

Looks great, you hardly see any Kat builds! glad to have more Noble Team cosplays. I might try having my next cosplay leg armour attached to some trousers so its easier to put on and then less strapping is needed.

This is the thread i used to help me build mine, might help you too :)

KAT ARMOR BUILD - with custom undersuit
thank you! it's true :< i always scroll through social media before starting a cosplay to see how other people have made theirs, and there's a serious lack of Kat!
i like to sew some velcro to the undersuit, it helps stop the parts from twisting. especially thighs and biceps

Hello!
I'm starting my first Halo cosplay, Kat!

I decided to try and build everything minus the helmet out of foam for comfort and mobility.
I commissioned enforce_props on instagram for a custom sized helmet and visor (cause I'm little and helmets always make me look like a bobble head lol) so I'm looking forward to receiving that

I haven't decided yet whether I want to base it on the deliver hope version or if I want to make her bionic arm.
But I've scaled and assembled some paper patterns for the lower body using resources from the armory, which has been super helpful!
Once I've fitted everything I'll start transferring to foam. I want to see how the proportions for everything look worn together first.

But here's what I have so far, any helpful tips and suggestions are always welcome!
(bonus Kat figure I'm using as reference hehe)
i think we know what needs to be done to get that authentic Kat arm look.. few are brave enough to do it! haha

it's not pretty but the scale seems right, I'm a bit bigger than my mannequin. it got pretty crinkled when I tried it on lol

my supervisor is inspecting haha

When i was doing mine like this, it was alot of trial and error and somehow managed to piece it all together using contact glue. I did the bits under/around the arms seperately using textured foam sheets.

Looking great! half expected you to start fiber glassing those pep trials with how clean they were looking.
