Looking for Halo Marines!

Hi 405th,

New to the forums and members, but not to costuming. Greets from the Midwest Garrison of the 501st. I want to build a ODST but instead want to start at as a Marine. Between the games and various concept artwork anyone have a comparision of the different Marine armors? Heck, if you do own/made a rig of your own...pictures and advice would be highly appreciated and sought after.

Also on a related note- Anyone build any the UNSC Army troops from Reach?

Welcome to the 405th.

This seems to be an interesting comparison photo, straight from Bungie's website.

I'm sure there's much more information/reference images of Halo Marines out there, just got to look for them/Google them.

If you're set on making a suit of Marine armor, do a search on here for "All-in-One Halo Pepakura pack". It contains Pep files for Marine armor from each game.

Also I would suggest using the search feature to look for others that have built those suits you are asking about. Thorssoli's has a awsome squad of Halo 3 marines http://www.405th.com/showthread.php/31388-Thorssoli-s-HALO-3-Marine(s)

there's a ton more marines on here but as for your question about the Reach Army troopers there have been several of those as well. I think all the Reach troop builds I've seen have been mostly made of foam.

Thanks...sifting thru tons of threads gets a bit tiresome...

The fellas I have contacted have been very helpful and I am glad my post didn't get lost on here. Quite a bit of traffic for all things costume. Almost reminds me of the RPF boards.
