With my camera now working properly, I can post what I have done. Any and all suggestions/critiques are welcome and appreciated. Please keep in mind that this project will be moving ahead rather slowly and I'll be posting some of my experiments that have to do with this build here.

First off, the helmet.

Its been done for a while and has been sitting there as I try to figure out what my next step will be. This one is my 2nd attempt and proved to me that I don't know everything and that reading the noob threads might be a good idea.

Next up, the gun.

What I'm currently working on, trying to improve my pep skills.

All the work I have done thus far. Please feel free to comment, so long as it's helpful.

Excellent work so far! Pepping looks crisp and sharp. I don't see any warping.
Your on the right track. Keep going.

Cheers!

wow! isnt that the ar from ghosts of onyx? they are looking well pepped, and i hope this goes well

(lol i also have a sanyo camera!)

Nope, ODST helmet and the ever famous, ever popular battle rifle. It dosn't have a scope, because I didn't feel like dealing with all of the tiny pieces to pep it, and the barrel is gonna be made out of PVC that I've got laying around, that way I can add some weight with out it shifting around. With the onset of winter (and we use that term very loosely down here) I'll be able to get outside for the fun chemically involved parts. And I want a sanyo camera, -sigh- no fair, I never get nice toys unless I make them myself.
