Here's the pistol I'm using, a Tokyo Marui Hicapa 4.3

But there's other brands out there that make them. My kit should be compatible will all railed hicapa's (maybe some 1911's) that use the same rear iron sight mount. I noticed the 5.1 has a different sight, and a potentially different mounting option, but then again I'm not sure.

WE has a whole line of Hicapa's in different styles.

So out of this list of 1911's do you see any that could fit the kit your making I would love to have a M6C, but i dont have $120 to spend on a hi capa

Sorry for the bump and lack of updates. I recently recorded some helmet camera footage of me using the M6C at CQB City in Stockton,CA. One of the guys who records the games there did a close-up on my kit and put the video up. Figured you guys would like to see them.

I recent got the job at a machine shop as well. Once I get some free time I may try to cut out a new piece so I can attach the slide to my gun.

cool. oh, and welcome back ender. :lol

It's a small helmet cam that I used to film it, specifically a Go Pro Hero helmet cam. It comes with all the mounting hardware needed to attach to my helmet. In my case, I used the very strong double sided tape that came with it and slapped a mount straight onto my helmet.

Very nice man...thinking about making a rifle version or you think it will take to long?

On a 3D printer? No, simply because it won't fit in the printer. As for machining a rifle, it's an idea I'm toying with. I might even go as far as CNC machining since I have one at work, but it's always loaded with parts, doubt it will have any free time. Not sure if I'm going to base it off anything or just a practical rifle for myself.
