Hi guys,

I just show you my first replica weapon of Halo : the M6H MAGNUM seen in Halo 4.
It was a friend who asked me if I could make him the gun and I say, "Why not !". So, in parallel with the Halo ODST's diorama I make this replica. I put a little more than a month to get there. Some parts are 3D printing and the rest are handmade. During manufacture I had the idea to do removable magazine, I figured it might be nice ! It took me a while but I got there.

Then I tried to mold it. I am used to the two-part molds but for that replica I need a mold in three parts. Unfortunately I failed my mold and I wasted a lot of silicone because of it... So sad !
Since I am afraid to fail my new molding. So I look for tutorials, videos, tips to get there (thank to JUSTINIAN, who gave me his own).

I will soon try again molding. I hope it will work !

In the meantime, I leave you some photos : please give me your opinion, make criticisms etc. This is my first replica, a second is in process so your comments can help me to improve my work !

Thank you ! ;)

The little hole is to place a magnet that will keep the magazine in place.

Wow man that looks incredible. Great job.
Would never guess its your first try, looks pro.

That is one amazing prop! Very clean and one of the best I've seen myself. I hope you've had some luck molding it. I sure would love getting my hands on a raw kit of this. Keep it up, man!

It will be molded before the end of this month ! If you still want a raw cast at this moment, contact me by PM :)

A little update :) !
Before all things, the Magnum will soon be molded and my second project comes to an end. But first, I needed a stand to present and / or put the replica.

So I started to make it ! ;)
I was inspired a lot by the stand of the two small replicas of the BR55 and the Covenant Carbine (this on : http: //ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31zlQWVG8FL._SX300_.jpg)
I really sanded but despite that, I'm proud of myself. I'll let you look at the different stages of the making process with the photos just below.
(Small detail, it is 25cm in length)

The weapons will be based on plexi support, I will do them with laser cutting.
Tell me what you think about it ;)

Your magnum build is by far one of the very best of the best i have ever seen. So smooth and so much detail! I want a pull from your mold line crazy. I hard core look forward to now updates from you.

Small update : Molding, the second attempt began.

It took me some time because I needed the money to silicone. And meanwhile, I have read and watched many tutorials to learn how to make matrix mold.
For Magnum is a three-piece mold. Normally if everything goes well, this molding should succeed !

I too am interested in getting one.

I would LOVE one of these! if you could contact me, would definitely consider buying
Soon guys, soon :D

Tonight or tomorrow morning I'll post pictures of my second project which is also finished and will also go to the molding !!

The molding is finished ! And the mold looks perfect !

I messed up the first mold by wanting do it quickly. This time, I took the time to do it right. I took the opportunity to try for the first time a matrix mold. I learned to do it by watching (many times) the video of Punished Props and his District 9 rifle.

I'll try my mold just after posted the following photo.

To start I cast the hole in the handle (for the magazine).
