hello 405th .



This is my current project the



Halo 3 ODST Armor





I´ve cleand up the threat a bit. wanna keep it professionel.







im working on this for about 3 weeks and today i started resine the armor pieces.

The helmet had become a 3rd layer of rondo and a primer paint to see the crappy areas.

ive casted the helmet with rondo to make it extra strong .

all pieces are painted with rondo now ... its curing right now ... i hope so ... its 3°C

but i think its gona work greate have mixed a little bit more hardener in the rondo mix so it should cure till tomorrow. and got a litle bit of rondo into my hairs xD ^^ OMFG!



update : it haz cured already ^^ here is what it looks like. its fuc***g strong buts still a lot of work to do !

i think ill ad one more layer of rondo on it and for the inside ill use foam instead of fiberglass ( wanna make mold of it ) The sanding action is goint to start xD ^^ -.-^^

i decidet to do not fiberglass the parts . im goint to put foam in it because i wanna make molds from em .. also i wont do a 2nd leg ... just make one of it an mold it down .

ITS DAY X



hey guys today i finished the peping of the last part !^^

jihhhhaaaa... now my fingers can heal xD

okay i think its everything done but im not sure . do you see a missing part on the pics ?

okay tomorrow ill rondo the last few peps and on friday the sanding action start... cant do this at home .. i dont want to do this outside at this temperatures ( -2°c ) . so i have to do it in the garage of a friend.

BUT THE FRUSTRATING PART IS OVER !^^

Im not really sure but 550 dollars a week for only working to days is alot.

You are one lucky guy, that is why you work on your ODST so fast

helmet is sanded down . now it got the 4th layer of rondo ( its finer bondo in the mix ) . the details comming out nicely ^^

okay there are 4 more layers of bondo on the dome ^^ its comming along nicely.

okay gona do 2 more layers of bondo on it and than 2 or 3 more layers of rondo ... after that im going to detail it with foamies... the end is near !

i think peping is the only realy frustrating part of building an armor ! im doing realy realy fast with sanding and each layer doesent realy take much time to sand down ( ofcorse only if you dont aply a ton of it at once ) today i dit 3 layers in a row ... and it tooks about 10 minutes per layer (without applying it) .

^^ i put on a piece of thick cardstock ( 2mm ) and added the front detail thing....



one or 2 more layers of bodyfiller on the dome and the helmet is ready for another 2 layers of ... very liquid rondo...with much resine. to make it all smooth ^^ .

no! before i started the odst build i made a mark6 low and high def to lern about pepakura and the chemicals ..

i didnt finish them . the mark 6 hd helmet had warped after resin.. and i dont wanted to make low def helmet.

hi there .. i added little pieces to detail the helmet. do you think its gonna look good after it is resined and bondoed ? i think ill resine the part and paint it with liquide rondo.



its 1,5 mm strong card board . and do you think the proportions are fine ?
