I would like to ask the obvious question of fuel, pelicans aren't exactly streamlined and running that many engines to keep it off the ground is going to burn through it pretty fast. and with a 1:1 ratio, you don't move anywhere close to the speed of a pelican. So as there is no current practical application of an aircraft like that.
