Making Mark Vi Armor

So yeah, I'm CabooseBro, and I've started on my Mark VI suit.

So far I've done the Helmet and MA5C Assault Rifle, and those have turned out fine

I've resined my Helmet and I've fiberglassed half of it, Resined my gun and I'm going to fill it with expanding foam soon

But my problem is that when I made my forearm and bicep pieces from pepakura, they're way out of proportion.

I'd lower the scale, but the armor is the right length, it's just that they're insanely big to fit on my arm.

I was going to use expandable foam to make them fit on me, but they're so big that I think it would look terrible

Any way to fix this? If someone could give me a different way of scaling it would be much appreciated.

Ps. Apparently the pictures of my MA5C and the pictures of my forearm armor are to big to upload, so those can't be seen.

PPs: I've lurked for like 5 days on the 405th, and I just can't find anyone that has the same problem, I tried searching it up but either there's no one that has this problem or I'm using the wrong keywords.

you could use extra pading on the inside, and for your pictures, try getting a photobucket or something like that, uploading your pics there, then link them to your posts. have fun with your build.

well that's what I was planning on doing at first but if you get a good look at the armor on my body, which my pictures don't really show, then you can tell that it looks way too out of proportion, and if I used those pieces I would look really dumb

thanks for the reply though

ok bro i feel your pain ive had the same problem, what i did was trim the part that goes around the bicep, ile the gaps between the parts with the details and glueing them together. make sure you use the right ammount support on the insidde of it though so it'll hold its shape and not warp when you resin it. :D

I'm not sure I follow, so you're saying that at the "straps" connecting the two pieces together, you cut them and then fitted them around your arm tighter?
