How so, you got me a bit confused. Halo Reach is the prequel to the halo series. In Halo 1 Master Chief was in the Pillar of Autumn. Captian Keyes left Reach hoping the covenant woulf follow and leave Reach alone, kinda worked, anyway, they find Halo, crash on it, etc, you might know the H1 story, if not play it again. U don't remeber the H2 campagin, play it again. U don't remeber the H3 story, thats right u guessed it, play it again. Idk if u know this but it was the game that came out first then the book, so really even if it is a good book there may be some defferences in the timeline cause the book is based on the game. kinda like a movie based on a book, they make changes for either, time, money, or to make it more intresting, but still explain to me more about wht you mentioned on youtube, i am curious. (also, youtube is not always right, it depends who said it, was it Bungie? Microsoft,Who? if you want just give me the link to that vid)

as pointed out before, the game breaks canon, but i don't think it goes that far by breaking timeline. just sayin. But I am pretty sure the re-release of the book probably contains alot more rewrites than previously thought.(which is kinda a bummer...but then bunjie rectifies by not breaking canon lol)
