Hey guys!

I want to start making my first armor now, and I need materials.
The thing is I live in Sweden, and here we don't have anything called Cardstock or Resin or Bondo 'n junk.

So if any Swedes could give me some tips for what stuff to buy (most importantly paper and a printer to go with it), it would be greatly appreciated :D

Thanks! :)

Hey Andersson! :) You will find cardstock at any office supply shop. Though the resin and fiberglass you can find at Biltema, though dont buy they crappy respirator. I would suggest you go to Jula and buy the MSA respirator because I bought several from Biltema but they all leak, and the personel really don't care.

You will find Bondo at either Biltema, Jula or Överskottsbolaget! I think the best one is PP100 Spackel, and that will be the cheapest at ÖoB!

In Biltema, look for "Glasfiberväv", "Polyester med härdare, som oftast är aceton som står bredvid"!

Good Luck! :)

Do you (or any Swede) know of any physical store that has paper above 80gsm? (I'm looking for 160)
All paper over 160 that I can find are online only. I don't really want to pay ~10$ to ship something worth ~20$...
I have checked the sites of some big stores in Stockholm, but they only seem to have 80gsm :(
Thanks :)

You can try at any office supply store, they should have some 160gsm paper on storage. Don't know if you have the Staples stores over there, but any equivalent to it will do.

Try shops with drawing supplies, heavy cardstock is popular to draw on. But it will come in small packes with high prices in that case, and having it shipped to you might actually be cheaper :)

Getting something heavier than 160 g/m² might also be a good idea.

I think the one we have are called "kontorsspecialisten" or something similar. Check any more specific office supplier ! :)

Hey friend and welcome to the site.
Im from denmark so you should probably know some of the stores or maby all of them.
The paper i use for pep is 280g foto paper from elgiganten.
Bondo and primer is from t-hansen.
If you are thinking of building with foam you might be able to find som foam mats in panduro hobby.

Håber du kan bruge det ;)

Well, I need 160gsm because that's the heaviest my printer can handle.
And as far as I know there are no office supply stores in sweden at all (that are not online-only)...
Guess I'll have to order online then :/
