Hi there folks, My name is Francisco Ramos and I am the Col. of my travelling airsoft group, Black Knight PMC. For a long time now, I have been toying with the idea of somehow upgrading all of our operators with Mjolnir Armor as we are all big Halo enthusiasts at home when we arent airsofting. I can just imagine walking onto whatever field we're scheduled to play at and all anyone sees are six Spartans walking up, much like Noble Team. I come to you all here at 405th in hopes that anyone can assist me and my group through some sort of sponsorship deal or something of the like. Any help would be muchly appreciated ;)

Welcome to the 405th Francisco. I hate to say it but you might not find to many people willing to sponsor suits. There are a number of reasons why. Fiberglass suits are expensive and need extra re-enforcement for things like air soft which drives the price up higher. All the suits would need to be made to fit each team member. Foam suits are cheaper but again need extra re-enforcement and need to be fitter to each member. So my advice would be to make it a team bonding exerciser and build your suits and a group. Nothing more fun than getting together with buddies and building armor.

Yeah I figured that would have to be our route, but to the same token, our plan b would be to have one suit made and use that as a model for us to build off of considering we are hardcore noobs in this particular department. We are also willing to pay for said suit, if that is a viable option.

In my opinion you would spend less time learning how to make your own rather than trying to find some one who is willing to sell their armor. If you can learn how to use peparuka you will not have to worry about further steps for quite a while.

Honestly, probably not. The sizing is VERY specific to the person who will be wearing it, and as such, won't make a good model to base another suit on for someone else. Check out the stickies on how these things are built and see about getting one suit started for yourself. Believe me, it's not as hard as it seems. Just takes some time and practice. We're all here to show what we're doing, but we are also here to both help others and learn from them as well. The people on this forum are an invaluable asset, and most will be here to help you in any way they can, myself included. Give it a go, man. It'll be cheaper and a better learning and bonding experience for you and your team.

Rex out.

Almost everyone in here starts as a noob but you get better and better with each step!
And I don't think a finished set of armor as a reference to build the others would help a lot.
