Motorcycle or Football Eyeshield?

I have been looking and doing some research and I have found some nice motorcycle helmet visors for around $20, but they aren't tinted and idk how to tint a visor without a full blown kit so i looked up football visors and they have a ton full tinted. Has anyone been able to cut down a football visor and used it in a helmet?

Niteshades window tint. Order it online, unless you are near a car oriented store like auto-zone.

i was more curious about whether anyone has tried outfitting their helmet with a football visor instead of motorcycle because motorcycle visors can be $70, yet some football visors can be $20.

First of all, if you had done enough research, you should have found tinted motorcycle visors for $20 or less. I myself am using one that was purchased for that much, and I know lots of people are doing the same.

Second of all, I'd suggest posting these type of questions in the appropriate "Help!" threads stickied at the top of this forum instead of posting a new thread for each question.

I agree. Since you joined you started several one question threads. This is not how we operate. You need to use one of the stickies to ask your question. If you have already started a WIP thread you post your questions there.

And I agree with Spitfire if you have done enough research you should already know the answer. If all else fails use google or eBay.

you dont need a kit it install a tint... its kinda like putting on a sticker that is VERY sticky. so get on of the handy little visors for 20$ and do what taocrabman said... pick up some tint for it. there are STICKY threads specificly for this question...

If you look for motorcycle visors on Amazon, they are dirt cheap. I bought 2 for less than $25

Amazon has plenty of low budget tinted motorcycle visors. If you have trouble finding it there you could use ebay, but just be weary of some sellers.

Well, I recommend going for an HTC, Seven Zero Seven, Arashi, BILT (Bilt = only Silver smoke, clear) iridium gold motorcycle faceshield. I ordered 3 of the cheap Amazon visor and they were terrible, just saying. THe gold flaked off way to easy. Anyhoo, thats my 2 cents. Good luck,
