ok so i have my first and second coat of silicone on the neck part i used mold release so it dont stick to my neck seal it is allready starting to harden and dry up here are some progress pics. i still have to put another two coats on it so it will not tare easy. i wil put some kind of pads or layer of something so it dont lay on my skin. but like i said this is going to be trial and error...

ok everybody i will post a link of a video for this but it is really easy to move in here are pics of the test neck seal i did not die it black because it was a test part but i will make me one now and die it black but i know it looks rough i did not trim the flashing off because i was excited to show you guys.
the last picture is the type of silicone i used it dyed really fast and it it picks up all the details. so if you are on a budget here is the answer, like i said im uploading a video of me wearing it and moving my neck with no pinching or discomfort at all i will post the link here as soon as it finishes its only about 1.5 mins long.... have any question feel free to ask..

I've had a lot of good luck with hatchbox at first but currently, I use e-sun. E-sun gives me consistent results.

For petG, tool is at 245, Bed is at 110 (only because I don't want to re-level the bed when I swap from ABS for a quick print. Otherwise I think 60 on glass with glue is just fine). Here are the rest of the important information:

Gives me pretty decent results but I can also get away with my abs settings as well which prints at 235C and lower retraction.

MoeSizzlac - Do you have your printer in an enclosure?

I do use an enclosure.

One of the first things I made once I got the machine. I built into the system a heater (basically just a halogen lightbulb), LED Lighting system, Smoke detector, octoprint, a couple of extinguishers in case of the worst event, and also a temp runoff shutoff switch relay which cuts power to the system if either the hot end tool or the heat bed get above (or below) a certain temperature.

I tried PMing you but it wouldn’t let me?? Build looks great. I really like your neck seal idea. I’ve always pondered doing something similar. I was wonder where you got the 3d printable neck seal file? I would like to print one for my H3 MKVI in the works and follow suit.
Thanks
Edit: oops sorry missed it in your first post. Do3d I see

That looks great! Since it’s one cast how do you put it on?

streach it over your head it will expand a little bit, that way it will be easy to get on and off..

have you guys got to see this video i know its no real but the way the guy talks about it. you would think its real pretty cool

How did you die the neck seal?? Looks great

when you mix your aceatone and silicone just add some color that you want it to come out as i use the walmart country crafts craft paint because it is water dilutable and it dyes fast so it will not slow the cure time at all
