I know the Majority of you follow the layout: Paper, Resin, Resin Fiberglass, Bondo Paint.

However I My layout is: Paper, Aqua Resin, Aqua Resin Fiberglass, Wood Putty, Joint Compound, paint.

It's working out rather well if I do say so myself, aside from being overly messy from dust and sanding, it's non toxic aspect appeals to me.

Sounds interesting....can you show some picture of the procedure and final results?

I would absolutely love to. But to make a long story short, I can't.

However I could use some help getting a smooth round surface, I can't get rid of the ridges defined by the paper.

Perhaps a sanding sponge? Or sandpaper attached to a block that's already curved? I've done some minor body work back when I had a car to work on, and the sanding sponges are great for contoured surfaces, whether to follow the contours or shape new ones. They apply more even pressure than standard sandpaper, can be cleaned and re-used, and come in a variety of shapes and grits.
