Yup... looks like you have been quite busy too! As usual, TOTALY AWESOME on BOTH suits! Keep on posting!

warmachineelite could you post some pictures of how you hinged the joints. i'm getting close to integrating that and i'm not sure how to do it. tnx

I fiberglassed my torso but there are some spots I missed. It's heavy and there are still fumes. I am hoping the fumes will go away in few days. Anyway, I am searching at home depot for padding. What padding did you use? Is there any alternative padding to foam?

awesome job, i to am planning on building an iron man suit but keep having problems. i dont know how to scale it to fit my body. can you please tell me how ou did it. thanks

The fumes should go away.. after you paint, the paint will also have fumes that will still linger but they will go away with time. The padding I used I bought on Ebay.

Seems to work out perfect for me.. I bet it's heavy but that means its solid. (definitly not a bad thing unless you have a bad back lol :) )

I just went by scale and seems to fit good. I already had my first build War Machine so I had a lot of practice and got lucky with the scale as it was with a few alterations here and there. There are some tutorials on this forum about scaling.

** Small UPDATE been very busy juggling work and doing something else but still moving along. I'm am back full blast on this build MORE UPDATES SOON GUYS.**

Again sorry for the quality of the pic's...... Still with a bullcrap camera.

I still need to airbrush the black detail onto the suit so the color matches the helmet. That's why the color is off....

So very cool. I'm trying to convince my wife that we should go to vegas this Halloween since her sister lives there so I can see these and shake your hand.

Amazing armor both for warmachine and the MKVI. One of the best warmachine armor sets I have seen yet. Do you know if you are going to motorize the faceplate to open and close?

Thanks for the comments everyone. I am still a noobie at this and I'm not that confident to be in the elite section just yet.

hey, i reckon you'd be great in the elite section! if someone says its bad (which they shouldn't but just if) you can take it as consctructive critisism!

btw thats good enogh to be a prop for the real movie!

Motorized minigun

You should used a cheap power drill motor for your minigun. I am planning to use this technique. I just don't know how to mount a motor to be centered and locked inside the pvc. So, it will spin nicely and even.

Hey, would it be asking to much if you could take some photos of the inside of your helmet; I would like to get some ideas on what the inside should look like as far as padding and straps

Both of your builds are quite impressive. Looking forward to see them both completed. Any updated pics?

seems the helmet is a major issue with most builds with it fitting properly and all, so i had an idea for an Iron Man or War Machine suit helmet. has anyone tried to buy that Iron Man 2 movie helmet that has the flip down visor toy thingy and cutting it in half and removing some from the middle to make it more accurate? ... if you removed the inside rubber and took out about 2 inches from the helmet (1 inch from each side after its cut in half down the middle), then Bondo the hell out of the eyes to make them not look like Iron Man is surprised and more like he should it might turn out pretty damn cool. if done right it could look right, fit right and even have built in lights and sounds. as for a War Machine helmet, all you would have to do is add the Pep pieces needed to the modded helmet then fiberglass and Bondo then paint.

i have no clue how well it would work, or if it even can, but if it was done right it would be a pretty awesome helmet. any thoughts or has anyone tried it?
