My First Prop

So this is my first prop/costume item that I have ever worked on. I'd say it's going pretty well. I work with a guy who is part of the 501st legion. He has done over 40 suits of armor so he has given me some pretty good pointers on how to do everything. I will update with more pictures as soon as I make some more progress.

Wow thank you both! Like I said my coworker has tons of experience in costuming and I don't think this would have looked nearly as good so far without his help

So here is some more progress. I got most of the laser sight bondo'd and sanded.




The only problem I'm really having is that I don't really know how to bondo this little detail without having to sand it and probably ruin the detail. Anybody have any suggestions as to what I should do about this?



On another note please learn from my mistake and bondo the trigger before you glue it to the gun. Might be a little hard to get at now.

Well looks like I won't be making any more progress on this prop. My car was just recently stolen and all my costuming stuff was in my car. Even if they find my car I doubt there will be any of my stuff left in it.
