MY first try at a custom Spartan Armor

Hi Guys I a noob when it comes to making armor. I'm using Fitness floor foam and I have the entire suit finished except for the helmet. This is because I have no clue on how to make one let alone which one would go good with the armor I made. This is a completely custom piece that I have designed myself. Any and all suggestions would be great. Thank you in advance.

Looks good. I would suggest layering thinner foam pieces on top to add details. Keep it up

Thanks I appreciate it. I want to add some more detail to it especially the shin guards. I've use foamies on the armor on the shin piece and I sealed it with plasti dip and then I panted it and the parts that have the thin foam on is cracking. Frustrating. Any suggestions?

did you plastidip or seal the foam in any way? i would also recommend using layers like a thicker foam for a base then layer the thinner foam but looks really good for completely custom made!

Cracking? as in the plastidip is crackling or the foam?

The actual foam I used. It dose give it a wear and tear look on the armor but there are a lot of cracks.

So I have taken and redone the Shin pieces with plasti dip and it has taken care of all the cracking I was running into. I just used white instead of black and painting it with white spray paint. What suggestions would say I need to enhance on the piece. I appreciate all the kind words and advice.
