My Infinite Chief build thread.

I used upholstery foam and flex seal again to create the gasket between the chest and undersuit. We also augmented, the armor with an Eva Ab plate and spine plate. The Eva ab was paint matched by the awesome Spartan wife and we used a flexible “plaid” brand acrylic paint to finish it. The weathering on the ab was done in enamel with the rest of the suit. A dry brush style technique for weathering was used on the ab. Finally we learned to sew with a sewing machine, on stream, and sewed an abs panel and spine panel onto the under-suit we mentioned before.

Here it is the end I finished Friday Aug 19 with decals and the satin clear coat. The decals were designed as part of a pet project that I am working on with Installation00 on youtube. We are trying to create a standardized decal sheet and location book, complete with decals and instructions. The decals will be accessible through a registry that will catalog and hold the master list of armor parts and kits, attached to its cosplayer in some interactive way like a captcha and barcode... It can be scanned by a smartphone and the site will open your profile, so we can track all the armor as it migrates and make it easy to share our socials together. Its a working concept for sure but this is the first time I have mentioned it here. So with that said, Here is the loot! AMA, and follow me on twitch and in discord if you have any questions. I ended up wearing the suit for 7.5 hours Saturday at Em-city. I was comfortable and it didn’t take much damage. I will be looking to upgrade and modify this build as I get more experienced. I figure this will be a ten year build, but I will eventually start building the mk.2. I’ll keep you guys posted!

are those free floating? i was thinking of using a rubber strap to attach mine to instead of glueing them to the bicep i just dont like it that has been my biggest hurdle. but i do like the way they look on your armor.
