my Kelly-087 build

Hey guys
It's time to step up my posting game on here

So I'll show you my Kelly-087 armor which I started to build back in 2020 and because of corona I finished it last year in july.

I am currently recrafting the torso cause my old one is way too big. And I am also searching for a way to upgrade my gloves so if you have an idea - or a pattern - tell me please

And a lot to Invidiax4 Fan for printing my helmet - still need to find a way to create a visor through which I can actually see.

That's one awesome Kelly build! I like that H5 brought blue team back and this armor looks just like the game's spartan in paint job and detailing.

I ordered this undersuit: Video Game Halo Cosplay Costume 3D Design Undersuit with a higher quality fabric and underarm zippers, feet and hands. I don't sweat as much while wearing only the undersuit (depending on the weather) but because foam does not breathe I do sweat when wearing the foam armor and it's hot but I think it's not building up. So it's quite nice I recommend handwashing tho.

Great work! I feel your pain with making torsos way too big. I was almost done sanding my MK VII until I realized mine was about 15% too big. xD. I look forward to seeing the remaster!

Hey Saya, welcome to the group. For your visor you can heat and bend a piece of plexiglass.

Yeah the problem is that very round top. The plexiglass just gets to thin there while you try to push it over the buck and vacuum it. Really annoying. But I think I found a way

I feel that but I finally had to show off my Kelly

A member of the European regiment printed the visor in two parts with resin, it's not completely finished yet tho. But I am very excited to finally be able to see through the visor

Ya I get that, my first visor everyone was a blurr lol. So the following year I did a pixieglass one and used it ever since.
Do you have to polish the resin alot to be able to see threw it?

Yeah it's a lot of sanding and polishing. And you need to clearcoat it as well. I will get the visor this week and then I'll be able to finish the helmet soon
